Deadly Trail

During a large-scale operation in the town of Bad Kreuznach, investigators from the Federal Criminal Police Office, Marten S. Schneider and Sabina Nemes, are trying to apprehend scientist Paul Konrad, who is suspected of planning an unprecedented series of terrorist attacks. However, Konrad manages to escape, and Schneider, along with his team, rushes to follow his trail. Meanwhile, in Kufstein, security consultant Lea Fuchs was just about to celebrate her birthday but, through her own fault, finds herself caught up in an extremely dangerous situation. Trying to get out of it, Lea devises a ruthless and risky plan – and doesn't even suspect that at the moment of its execution, she will encounter Schneider. This meeting completely changes the course of Schneider's investigation and puts both their lives in jeopardy…
