The Flesh of Amarok: Abaddon

The heroine wanders in a distant world of the future, where she has neither support nor a clear way back. She is found by Hammer — a man from the past, who now leads a multitudes Legion and lives not by feelings, but by command and duty. For him, it is important to fulfill his promise and return her home, but a new force arises: the hegemon Torvus begins to pursue his own interest and calls the girl his Abaddon. Against the backdrop of the struggle for power and survival, the personal story quickly becomes part of a larger conflict related to the origins of the amarokans.
