The Black Olshansky Castle

It all begins with an ancient book and an encrypted manuscript that points the way to the treasures of the Olshansky family. After the death of Marian Ptashinsky, the find ceases to be a scholarly rarity and turns into a reason for investigation. The search leads the hero to Olshany, to the ruins of a castle about which unsettling stories have long circulated. There, he has to delve into old records, legends, and the actions of people willing to go to any lengths for the treasure. The detective storyline is closely tied to historical memory, war, and the question of what price a person pays for evil.
