The Color out of space and other stories

Parallel worlds, unsolved family secrets, evil spirits, alien matter, witchcraft and magic, cursed places, visions beyond human understanding – the world of Lovecraft's works is filled not only with the myths of Cthulhu. His universe is inhabited by other unexplored and incomprehensible beings, coming from the depths of forests, impenetrable swamps, deep caves, mysterious dungeons, and even other times and dimensions, which one can accidentally enter by opening the attic window. One of his first stories, «The Beast in the Cave», Lovecraft wrote at just 14 years old, and the stories included in this collection, «The Music of Erich Zann» and «The Colour out of Space», the author considered to be his best works. The original plots of Lovecraft's mystical stories have inspired popular songs, films, and computer games. To this day, the famous writer Stephen King considers Howard Lovecraft his inspiration.
