Three inseparable friends take on a new case! In the summer cottage village «Forest Tale», August is breaking records for harvest, while the resident of a cozy house, Olenka, is facing a real disaster: two hundred young roosters have started to… disappear. A thief, acting with astonishing agility, is taking the most vocal singers without leaving a trace. Together with her loyal friends – practical Svetlana and creative Katyusha – Olenka decides to set a trap. But instead of the thief, the friends find a poetess with a head injury on the neighbor's plot, and all the evidence points to Olenka. From now on, she has to not only protect the remaining rooster population from the mysterious kidnapper but also prove her innocence in the attempted murder. The friends uncover who is operating under the cover of night: the offended poetess, a strange acquaintance, or a foul-mouthed talking crow.
