Anatomy of Crime. The Polish Operation of the NKVD in Documents

The book presents all stages of the operation and its documentation flow, statistical data on its outcomes, 105 documents stored in the FSB archive and other state archives of the Russian Federation, as well as in the archive of the Security Service of Ukraine. For the first time, a complete list of the protocols of the NKVD Commission and the Prosecutor of the USSR related to the “Polish operation” is published, with the indication of their numbers, dates, the agencies that submitted them (NKVD/UNKVD/DTO), and the number of decisions made.

For the overwhelming majority of names included in the index, brief biographical notes have been prepared.
