Andromeda Nebula. The Hour of the Bull

In «Andromeda Nebula», humanity lives in the Era of the Great Ring and makes contact with other intelligent worlds. Against this backdrop, distant expeditions, scientific searches, and the work of people unfold, for whom knowledge, discipline, and responsibility are more important than personal ambitions. «The Hour of the Bull» shifts the action to a later era: the starship «Dark Flame» arrives on Tormans with a humanitarian mission and encounters a society divided into castes and subordinate to the authority of a few. The tension here builds on the clash of two concepts of man, freedom, and the future.
