The Knight and the Moth

Before the Oracles of the Ashlin Cathedral, people worship and tremble. The maidens, whose gaze is always hidden behind a thin veil, easily change destinies, for only they hold the secret of interpreting the signs of the Prophetic Gods. Sibyl, who has never known life beyond the cathedral, is used to reverence. Both the learned and the common folk are ready to cross the endless wastelands of the kingdom for her to reveal to them the future. However, there are those who are deaf to her words. For example, the mysterious knight accompanying the king, named Rodrik Mindashes. He has three earrings in his ear and his mouth is full of sarcastic remarks, but he knows better than anyone else the laws by which ordinary people live. And when the Oracles begin to disappear from the cathedral one by one, Sibyl has no choice but to trust him. The brute who is not afraid to challenge her gods. The heretic whose future she cannot see.
