Dark Essence

The plot revolves around the consequences of a catastrophe that has changed the familiar order of life. People no longer control the world as they once did: now, alongside them exist beings born from dark power, and each encounter with them can become a trial. The Reaper — one of the most dangerous figures in this world. Legends surround it, and its power instills fear even in those who are used to living amidst constant threats. A separate storyline is set by a man convinced that he can impose his will on a being that knows almost no boundaries. This conflict maintains the tension of the novel: the story explores where the line is drawn between man and monster, what makes power destructive, and whether one can subjugate a force that was never created for obedience. In the book, not only are clashes and dangers important, but also the very structure of the world after the catastrophe, where survival has become an everyday task.
