One day a cat came to me

After fourteen years spent in the bustling center of Seoul, the Buddhist monk Pogyeon returns to a quiet mountain temple. This is exactly what he once dreamed of: to lead a leisurely contemplative life in solitude. However, soon at the door of his room appeared a confident white-orange cat, showing with all its being that it had chosen him, Pogyeon, as its companion. «One day a cat came to me» – a story of a touching friendship between the Buddhist monk and the cat Nyani, told through stories, drawings, and photographs. Also includes reflections born from this friendship about life, love and forgiveness, harmony with nature, self-awareness in this world, and Eastern and Western wisdom.
