The outbreak of the virus subsided a few weeks after the first infected person turned. The streets became safe again. The crisis had passed.

But medical biologist Kesta cannot simply forget. During the day, she works tirelessly and attends support group meetings for those who lost loved ones during the zombie apocalypse, while at night she is obsessed with uncovering the mystery of the origin of the zombie virus. The world needs this. She needs this.

An opportunity arises when her candidacy is accepted for consideration to participate in the secret project “Dawn,” which is working on developing a vaccine. Now Kesta is closer to everything she has long dreamed of. The main thing is that no one discovers her secret: in the guest bedroom, handcuffed to the radiator and sedated, hides the last infected person on Earth – her husband Tim. And there is nothing Kesta wouldn't do to restore her most beloved and dear person to normal life.
