Ray

After the largest catastrophe in history, a purple Ray shoots up into the sky at the site of Moscow. With each passing day, it spreads further, replicating the same area of the Bitsevsky Forest in the south of the capital. The few survivors in the contaminated areas encounter creatures from Eastern European folklore and hallucinations that force them to relive tragic events from Russian history. A research institute sends expeditions into the forest to reach the epicenter and uncover the nature of the Ray. A group of teenagers with a resistance to hallucinations begins their studies at the institute. Soon, they confront a past that compels them to rethink the catastrophe.
