Humanity on the Brink of Global Collapse

In the new book, the Chairman of the Russian Economic Society named after S. F. Sharapov, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Valentin Yuryevich Katasonov analyzes the political and military aspects of the situation that has developed in the global economy at the end of 2025, and their influence on Russia's internal and external position. Relations between the Old and New Worlds have deteriorated due to the import tariffs imposed by the 47th President of the United States, Donald Trump, and positions on Israel, which has attacked Iran, differ. Additionally, the reclassification of gold to a higher category, considering its banks at a 100-percent price (according to the standards of «Basel-III»), threatens to deprive the dollar of its status as a global currency. Entering into a hybrid confrontation with the collective West on the fields of the Special Military Operation, Russia has not restructured its economy for wartime conditions. There is also no quality textbook on economics for training specialists in the field of the domestic economy. All existing textbooks are based on the ideology of economic liberalism, which is alien to Russian civilization and destructive to it. It is necessary to create a proper economics textbook for our country.
