Conversations with Vasya Brilliant. From Battle Divers to Criminal Authority

In this book, the harsh truth of camp life is taken to the limit, where an incredible fate breathes, and this intermittent breath enriches the manuscript with clear and honest documentary authenticity, a certainty that it was all this way and no other – in this lies the lasting value of the memories of a former diver who has undergone serious trials. Before us is a confession, where alongside the author we embark on this strange, unknown voyage of law-abiding citizens with well-known criminal authorities, thieves in law – Sasha Rospisnoy, Borya Bryansky, Seryoga Boyets, Arkasha Arkan, who was crowned by the emperor of the criminal world, the legendary Uncle Vasya Brilliant. The author had evening conversations with the latter at the Vladimir central correctional facility. All these people respected the former special forces sailor for behaving with dignity in all situations, walking straight, and protecting the weak. The author and the publisher do not call for violating the legislation of the Russian Federation or promoting a criminal lifestyle, but merely show the dramatic history of our homeland, hidden from the eyes of the uninitiated.
