Hymns of Abhinavagupta

The book by Lilian Silbern "Hymns of Abhinavagupta" is dedicated to the translation and analysis of the hymns of the great philosopher and mystic Abhinavagupta (10th – 11th centuries), a central figure in the tradition of Kashmir Shaivism. This edition also contains: an article by Andre Padu dedicated to the figure of Lilian Silbern; and a translation of the legend about the origin of Kashmir from the "Nilamata Purana" (6th–10th centuries), created in this region, which will help the reader better understand the spiritual atmosphere in which Abhinavagupta lived and created.
