Children of Wolves

In the mountains, far from civilization, girls are disappearing. Sixteen-year-old Rebekka is just one of them. Journalist Smilla, whose friend disappeared here many years ago, begins an investigation and notices alarming coincidences. Her search leads to the isolated settlement of Jacob's Ladder - a closed community with strict rules and fear of the outside world. As tension between the villagers and the city grows, Smilla gets closer to a secret that overturns the notion of victims and perpetrators.
