The Tragedy of Afghanistan

The new edition of the scientific work "The Tragedy of Afghanistan" consists of two parts. In Part I, "The Origins of the Tragedy," the role of revolutionary-democratic parties and developing countries is analyzed, particularly concerning the People's Democratic Party of Afghanistan (PDPA) and the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan (DRA).

In Part II, "The Continuation of the Tragedy," a brief analysis of the situation in Afghanistan after the fall of the PDPA government and the departure of the Americans from the country on August 30, 2021, as well as the rise to power of the banned organization in Russia, "Taliban," is presented.

This work is recommended for social scientists, practitioners in international relations, as well as graduate students and undergraduates studying Asian countries, particularly Afghanistan.
