The Ghosts of the Old Cemetery

"The Ghosts of the Old Cemetery" — a collection of eight mystical stories about the secrets of Belarusian cemeteries, about the fragile boundary between the world of the living and the dead.

Here, spirits lurk everywhere: in the rustle of grass near forgotten graves, in the chill of stone crypts. Old cemeteries keep not only names and dates — in the shadows of fences, under the arches of noble tombs, and in the depths of family vaults live forgotten stories. That which seemed forever buried once again makes itself known: the ghosts of the past remember, wait, and sometimes call by name those who dare to disturb someone else's memory.

This collection has become the debut book of the series "MYTH × Writer's Drawer," created together with the community of modern Belarusian authors. "Drawer" in Belarusian — a pull-out drawer of a table or cabinet — the place where writers keep their manuscripts until publication.
