The collection of the outstanding Austrian novelist and playwright, Nobel Prize laureate (2019) Peter Handke includes three plays that represent various stage experiments: "Kaspar" (1967), the story of a teenager who learned to say one phrase by the age of sixteen; "Public Shame" (1966) - monologues of actors playing themselves; and the philosophical drama-pantomime "The Time When We Knew Nothing About Each Other" (1989).
