Counterfeit

Chagyeon's dream is to be a talented, but lonely schoolgirl who has learned to rely only on herself. When her classmate Dohee offers to counterfeit money, it seems like a chance to escape poverty and get closer to her dream. But what began as a way to obtain funds for her education quickly pulls Chagyeon into a whirlpool of lies, fear, and other people's secrets. Not only the bills are counterfeit. Each mistake increasingly entangles the heroine in a web from which there is no escape, until one tragedy turns her life upside down. Now Chagyeon has to make a choice: to preserve the future she has been building for so long at any cost, or to pay too high a price for it.
