Time to Love

The story of Romeo and Juliet in the 20th century could look like this. A Muslim and a Jewish girl, medical students at Istanbul University, fall in love with each other. It is 1940, more and more countries and peoples are being drawn into the swirl of the fiercest war, and the voices of nationalists are growing louder in Turkey. Both families want to hear nothing about such a union and both appeal to "common sense," but in vain - because it is time to love against all odds. And although the lovers will not have to die to be united, their great love will have to go through many trials.
