Landscape with Flood

The collections of poems by Joseph Brodsky (1940-1996) "Stop in the Desert", "The End of a Beautiful Era", "Part of Speech", "New Stanzas to Augusta", "Urania", and "Landscape with Flood" were published in the 1970s-90s by the American publishing house "Ardis", where for many years works of Russian literature that could not see the light in their homeland were published. Brodsky wrote that this publishing house saved numerous Russian writers and poets from oblivion and changed the very climate of Russian literature. The collection "Landscape with Flood" includes poems from the 1980s-1990s, among which are "Centaurs", "Flight into Egypt", "In Memory of My Father: Australia", "Vertumnus", "Letter to an Oasis" and others.
