What does it mean to be a child? And a parent? Jenu is a mature and thoughtful seventeen-year-old teenager. He and many other children grew up in a special center where each child has the right to choose potential parents on their own using TON or "Testing of Guardians' Reliability". Jenu conducts various interviews and searches for his parents, but the search is hard. He must decide whom among the candidates he can trust. Time is swiftly slipping away — the young man has two years left until graduation from the center.
What does it mean to feel part of a family? How to become parents next to whom a child will always feel warmth and care? And can we discern in the series of events what life has in store for each of us?
