Two in London

A family of Chinese immigrants leaves their hometown of Beijing to start a new life in London, where an antique shop inherited from them is located on a quiet street near St. Paul's Cathedral. Mr. Ma, a typical representative of "old China", is conservative and detached from reality, while his son Ma Wei, on the contrary, tries to adapt to the new environment. However, despite their differences, both father and son face typical immigrant problems – language barriers, racial prejudices, loneliness, and nostalgia for their homeland – which are exacerbated by the cultural gap between China and the West in the early 20th century.
