Corrigan

Divina Blunt, a wealthy widow of a colonel, lives with the memories of her dearly beloved husband and hardly leaves the dusky bedroom of her cottage in pastoral Wiltshire. Her relationship with her daughter Nadine is strained, former passions have lost their meaning, and the only thing that fills her monotonous days now is visits to the cemetery and chatter with her noisy housekeeper. But one day, a charming Irishman in a wheelchair appears at the doorstep, collecting donations. A friendship quickly blossoms between them. Corrigan and Divina talk for hours about poetry, come up with charitable projects, and drink champagne. The closer their bond becomes, the more Nadine doubts her aging mother's sanity and worries about her safety. What if Nadine is right? Corrigan is a skilled manipulator, Mrs. Blunt is his victim...
