Trap for Crickets

Director Kirill Yurganov leads a unique theater called "Echo," where minimal actors—people with growth disabilities—perform. An unexpected offer from an influential general seems like salvation for the struggling troupe: a grand show in the closed estate "Arsenal" promises fame and money. However, instead of triumph, the artists find themselves in isolation. The owner disappears, and his family turns the guests into living toys for their spoiled son. Humiliations, dangerous games on the edge of life and death, intrigues among the staff, and a rift within the troupe grow deeper each day. Realizing that there is no help on the horizon, the people are faced with a choice: to accept the role of amusing "crickets" or risk everything for freedom.
