Easy Breathing

Ivan Alekseevich Bunin — a famous Russian writer and poet, laureate of two Pushkin Prizes and the Nobel Prize. He is a master of the short form, as confirmed not only by the universally recognized collection «Dark Alleys», but also by stories such as «Easy Breathing» and «Muse», the graphic adaptations of which can be found in this edition. The illustrations are done by Maxim Markevich with oil paints on primed paper, which beautifully complements the dramatic story of the gymnasium student Olenka and the tragedy of the nameless artist who met the mysterious Muse.
