Morphine

«Morphine» — the famous story by Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov, published in 1927. The plot is based on the author's personal story, namely his obsession with morphine and his experience working as a rural doctor. It is a confession of a young man whose professional duty turns into a deadly trap. In 2008, there was a film adaptation by Alexei Balabanov based on the script by Sergey Bodrov Jr., and in 2012 the British series «The Notes of a Young Doctor» premiered, starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe. We are pleased to present our interpretation of this poignant story in the form of a graphic novel with the unique graphics of Alexei Troshin.
