«Red Blood» — the only comic in Russia on the theme of the Afghan war of 1979-1989. The plot is based on the memories of combat veteran Igor Ermakov and his comrades. This is the story of a hero, embodying the best traits of a person who believes he is fighting for a just cause. The comic was published from 1992 to 1995 in the iconic Yekaterinburg magazine «Veles», but for a number of reasons, the last two chapters of the story were never published.
