The Gan Icelander

The noble Ordeners Guldenlyu, son of the vice-king of Norway, falls in love with the charming Ethel — the daughter of a disgraced minister. To save his beloved from imminent execution, Ordeners decides to find secret documents that justify her father's honorable name. The brave young man must undertake a long journey, overcome dark fortresses and harsh prisons, encounter treacherous conspirators and noble rebels, and finally confront the owner of the papers — a true monster in human guise, known as the Gan Icelander.
