The Second Guiding Star

Yulia comes to her senses in a dark basement and realizes that she has become a captive of dangerous people. The only clue her kidnappers have is the jewelry, the location of which they believe is known to her ex-husband Harry. But Harry is not here. Perhaps he has managed to hide, or perhaps he himself is in mortal danger.
Meanwhile, private detective Alexei Kisanov begins the search for the missing people. The trail leads him through underground passages, forest paths, and swampy areas. With each new step, it becomes clear that the separate disappearances are much more closely related than initially thought.
To get to the truth, Kisanov must piece together fragmented facts, decipher the motives of the participants in the events, and hurry to help those whose fate hangs by a thread. The investigation turns into a race against time, where the price of error is far too high.
