General Chemistry

The book presents the basic concepts and laws of chemistry, the theory of atomic structure, the theory of chemical bonding, the theory of solutions and electrochemical processes. It describes the properties of inorganic compounds. In the section dedicated to organic chemistry, the theory of the chemical structure of organic compounds by A.M. Butlerov and the properties of organic compounds of individual classes are considered. The textbook is intended for students of technical schools, colleges, and secondary educational institutions with an enhanced chemistry program. It may be useful for chemistry teachers and students of non-chemical universities studying general or organic chemistry.
