Some Romeos deserve death. And fairy tales turn into cruel cautionary tales.

This was meant to be an innocent kiss at a lavish debutante ball.
A secret moment with a handsome stranger. But, unlike Shakespeare's character, my Romeo
is driven not by love. He is driven by revenge. To him, I am merely a piece on a chessboard.
The bride of his rival. For me, he is a man deserving of poison.
The dark prince to whom I refuse to belong. He thinks I will surrender to my fate.
But I plan to rewrite it. In my story, Juliet does not die. But Romeo...
He will perish.
