The Book of Five Rings

Miyamoto Musashi – a legendary samurai and swordsman who dedicated his life to understanding the Way of the Warrior. He headed the Niten Ichi Ryu school, invented and successfully used the technique of fighting with two swords (the long one – katana and the short one – wakizashi). At the end of his life, the undefeated warrior summarized his experience in a philosophical treatise known as "The Book of Five Rings".
In his teachings, Musashi reveals the art of strategy heihō, which requires following the path of the five Scrolls – Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Void. This is a universal system for achieving perfection, allowing the reader to achieve inner balance and understand the essence of the True path.
In addition to the treatise, there is the "Collection of Teachings on the Warrior's Path" by the famous samurai Daidoji Yuzan – a moral code that reveals the philosophy of bushido.
