Every person inevitably follows someone's will — their own, human (the will of others), or spiritual. Complete independence does not exist: behind every decision lies someone's influence. Some are driven by the desire for pleasure and self-realization, while others are influenced by fears and societal pressure. The question is never whether a person should live according to someone else's will; it is always this: whose will is my life subject to? Here lies the call of the Gospel — to live according to God's will.
