The Son of the Clockmaker

A great story is like a vortex that consumes people — this is well-known to the contemporaries of the 20th century, who were born for a new beautiful life but found themselves in the most dramatic circumstances. The magnificent Marco Balzano gazes into Italy during the rule of Mussolini. His hero, born in 1900, is a young man and later an adult man, with an angelic face and light hair, nicknamed Baby. He is inconsolably searching for his mother, as his father, a simple clockmaker from Trieste, does not wish to tell anything about her. It seems that in his search, Baby reaches the most terrifying point and takes up arms.
