Hikikomori. In the Silence of My Room

After witnessing a horrific accident, Sasha locks herself in her room and refuses to have contact with the outside world. No, she doesn’t want to die, but life doesn’t particularly make her happy either. From time to time, when no one is home, Sasha steps out of her room, but she hasn’t shown herself outside the house for nine months. This room is her prison; in it, Sasha is both the warden and the prisoner. She has ceased communication with all her loved ones: she doesn’t talk to her parents, doesn’t reply to messages from her beloved grandmother, or her best friend… And she also cannot explain anything to her younger sister Elsa. Just like that: she cannot. It’s not a question of choice and not a question of desire.
