Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a cannibalistic murderer, becomes a consultant and ally to the FBI after being imprisoned. Undoubtedly, Hannibal Lecter is a maniac, but he is also a philosopher and a brilliant psychiatrist. He is tormented by boredom and the lack of «interesting» books in the prison library.
Having hit a dead end in the investigation of a serial killer nicknamed the Red Dragon, the FBI turns to Dr. Lecter. After all, only a maniac can understand another maniac. The true player Lecter agrees to help. Much out of boredom, but more to prove that he is smarter and craftier than the Red Dragon.
