Shadow Behind the Wall

The director of the orphanage asks Kolka Pozharsky to deliver important documents to the secretary of the district committee, Savushkin. Entering through an unlocked door, Kolka finds the owner of the house absent, but hears a noise from the neighboring room indicating a struggle, after which someone falls out of the apartment onto the street. Kolka rushes to the window and sees Savushkin's daughter, Liza, lying below, with whom he was friends. The guy realizes that he could be suspected of the crime. He calls the police and hurriedly leaves the terrifying place. Scared and bewildered, Pozharsky mindlessly grabs a small figurine of a dancing little man in a mask that stands on the table. He still does not know how much trouble this seemingly harmless object will bring to him and his loved ones…
