Seven Sisters

For over a decade, an eccentric millionaire adopts six girls from different corners of the world at infancy. Each of them is named after a star in the constellation of the Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters.
The novel begins with one of the sisters, Maya, learning of her father's sudden death. She rushes to her childhood home in Switzerland, where everyone gathers to learn her father's last will. In the house, they see a mysterious sphere engraved with the names of all the sisters and their places of birth.
Maya becomes the first to decide to learn about her roots. She flies to Rio de Janeiro and, with the support of local writer Floriano Quintelas, dives into the mysteries of the past, which turns out to be closely intertwined with the legend of the seven sisters and their mysterious destiny.
