The White Dove of Cordoba

Everything led to the fact that Zakhar Kordovin became an artist, forger, and adventurer. His grandfather, a major in the NKVD, left behind empty old canvases for his yet-to-be-born grandson. His aunt Zhuka, gracefully rising every morning at 80 in a "swallow" (a type of airplane), taught him to speak Spanish. And the "cursed Kordovin blood" and undeniable talent pushed the young man to create a copy of the lost painting by Rubens, "Sleeping Venus"...

Many years have passed since then. Kordovin sells artfully forged canvases, hiding his trusty Glock pistol in the folds of his clothing just in case. He travels in search of new "lost" works of famous artists and has affairs in every country. However, he cannot find peace with the "Sleeping Venus" and the tragedy associated with it. Kordovin awaits a new test of endurance. Fate sends him the painting of Sakkarias Cordovera, a student of El Greco, a girl who resembles his deceased mother like two drops of water, and mysterious pursuers. Will Kordovin be able to extricate himself this time?
