This current compiled edition of the previously published three-volume set (vol. 1 - 2005, vol. 2 - 2007, vol. 3 - 2010) includes books I-XIX of this monument translated and commented on by the outstanding Russian linguist, expert on Vedic language and literature T.Ya. Elizarenkova (1929 - 2007).
It publishes a preface by T.Ya. Elizarenkova (to vol. 1) "Atharva Veda - structure and content", an introduction (to vol. 3) by V.V. Vertogradova, and a comprehensive Dictionary of major mythological characters and ritual concepts.
