Mistress of the Copper Mountain. Tales

In the 1930s, the writer Pavel Bazhov collected and literarily processed the legends of the Ural miners at the request of the party. They became beloved by readers and firmly entered Russian folklore.
The collection contains tales about stonecutter masters who encounter mythological beings and spirits in the Ural region, who either help the skilled workers or play tricks and test their strength. It includes "Mistress of the Copper Mountain," "Malachite Box," "Stone Flower," "Mountain Master," "Silver Hoof," and others.
