Drowned Girls

A dying girl was found in an old cemetery, left to die at the feet of a statue of the Virgin Mary by a criminal. At the same time, an unidentified body wrapped in plastic was pulled from the city canal. A crucifix was carved into the foreheads of both victims.

The case is taken up by young detective Angie Palorino, but she approaches it with caution. Not only did Angie begin to hear horrific voices after the investigation started, but the new colleague James, with whom she is forced to work in tandem, turned out to be familiar to her for a completely different reason.
