The Corleone clan is the most powerful in all of America. To society, they are oil traders, but in reality, their sphere of influence is much larger. The only thing Don Corleone does not want to get his hands dirty with is drugs. His refusal deeply offends the other families. Such a thing is unforgivable to an aging don. A long war begins between the clans. The notion of blood vengeance is still alive; therefore, the slaughter can only be stopped by taking a risky step.
