The Little Prince

The image of the Little Prince came to Saint-Exupéry at a difficult time when the writer himself was far from home and utterly alone. He called his hero "the friend I carry in my heart" and gifted him the best memories of childhood – and of love, beautiful and cruel, like an elegant rose. Edition in the beloved series "Eternal Stories".

"All grown-ups were once children, but few of them remember it…" Everyone knows the plot of this story. A plane crashes in the middle of the desert, and the pilot has very little supplies left to wait for help. One day at dawn, he is awakened by a boy with golden hair... Where did he come from? And how amazing are the stories he tells!

The story of the Little Prince is multi-layered. Touching. Healing. It seems that there is something greater in it than ourselves. Saint-Exupéry raises themes of friendship, loneliness, love, and loss. And what it all ultimately means – each one decides for themselves.
