The Black Queen

In search of the mysteriously vanished Alexandra Shelling, an insurance investigator and art expert, Viennese private detective Peter Hogart heads to Prague.

But the Golden City reveals its darkest side to Hogart. His investigation has stirred a hornet's nest, and within a few hours, he has attracted a number of rather dubious figures, as well as antagonized the Prague police.

Only his young colleague Ivona Markovich, who is currently investigating a series of strange dismemberment murders, seems to be on Hogart's side. When they miraculously escape death during an attack, it becomes clear that there is a connection between their cases.

And that time until the next murder is catastrophically running out…
