Queens of Detective

October 1930. A young English nurse sets off on a ferry to France to have a fun weekend, and mysteriously disappears. For six whole months, nothing is known about the girl, and then her body is found on the edge of a forest park. There are no leads, and the police of both countries are at a standstill. Perhaps the victim had connections at the highest levels of the British establishment... But then the incomparable Agatha Christie and four other famous writers, rightfully calling themselves the Queens of Detective: Dorothy Sayers, Ngaio Marsh, Margery Allingham, and Emma Orczy, take on the case. At first, the friends see the investigation as a kind of 'murder game', intending to prove to their male colleagues that they too can be full-fledged members of the recently founded Detective Club in London. But gradually the women realize they are playing with fire: reality is very different from fiction, and daring, cunning detectives, especially one of them, face serious danger...
