Four Seasons

Stephen King is a writer who loves traditions. One of them is the publication of collections that invariably consist of four novellas. "Four Seasons" became the first such collection. Its titular story "Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption" served as the basis for the legendary film by Frank Darabont, starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.
Each work here is a small journey, the tone and mood of which is set by a specific season...

Spring - and an innocent man is sentenced to life in prison, but as long as hope lives in him - he will gradually implement his brilliant escape plan.
Summer - and in a small town, high school student Todd Bowden becomes obsessed with the dark past of an old man next door, gradually becoming his pupil.
Autumn - and four bored teenagers wander through a dark, endless forest to see a corpse.
Winter - and an elderly doctor begins an amazing story about a strong woman who decided to triumph over death.
