Radius of Fragility

Mid-2000s. In a gray mono-city, a quiet struggle for survival goes on every day. Here, lying is a means of protection, trust is a rare value, and hopelessness is a closed space from which neither adults nor future graduates of the local school can escape. But there is a radius of fragility connecting two points: the daughter of a visiting inspector, Senya, and her classmate nicknamed Frost.

Frost is an outcast among his peers. During the day, he tries to become invisible; at night, he is a clever gamer making money. He has a terrible secret that torments him. Senya balances on the edge of normality and outsider status. Every day she faces a dilemma: betray herself again for the sake of her classmates or find the strength to be herself. The only thing that saves her is correspondence with her sister on ICQ, her favorite songs by 'Animal ДжаZ' and 'Сплин'.

'Radius of Fragility' is a novel about adolescent isolation, systemic cruelty, and that painful point where true closeness is born, and fragility becomes strength.
